Long Hair Don't Care

I have been obsessed with the ombre trend since it began, but my mother was never on board. After months of begging she finally let me apply a subtle ombre look to my hair. My friend Nicole actually did it for me! I love it so much. I could have gone for a more dramatic change, but my mother thinks otherwise. I am now adding beads and feathers from last summer back into my hair. Who cares if that trend is over?! It's summer let's have some fun.

Veggies & Noodles

I love spending days with my family. I am trying to get as much time in with them before I leave for a month to Colorado to serve our awesome God at a Younglife camp. Today my older sister, Maggie, my mom, and myself spent the day laying out by the pool (actually sweating in the Texas heat), shopping (I ended up purchasing a pair of wedges), cooking dinner (steamed veggies and noodles with fresh fruit), walking around the neighborhood, and watching The Bachelor (with our own commentary on who is cheesiest & hottest & how they must pose them looking off in the distance). I adore my family.

Wildfox

I love happy, magical, fairy-type quotes. I stumbled upon Wildfox Couture's twitter, and I instantly became OBSESSED. All their tweets are very happy go lucky and make me feel like we live in a magical world where girls rule the world. I hope to one day be a designer's public relation girl and make other young girls feel magical and glittery. This post may only make sense to a few, but it made me ecstatic none the less. The one word to describe @WILDFOXCOUTURE is wanderlust.

Like Crazy

I can't believe I just watched this movie last night. I should have seen this movie forever ago. I really enjoyed the plot line of this love story and how real the complicated situations were instead of making it an unrealistic fairy tale relationship. I mean we all dream of that, but how often does that really happen in our world?

The only two things that threw me off were the generic names and how quickly they found different significant others. I hate that their names were Anna and Jacob. They sound like names of kids that would be on anyone's second grade class picture. And I don't know if I was just tired when I watched it last night, but I got lost on how they jumped from being crazy in love together to being in different countries with different "lovers" then back together again?!

But all in all I did enjoy Like Crazy.
