SAG Awards Favs
Black and navys were all the rave last night on the SAG Awards red carpet along with dark lips and side swept glam waves. Here are a few of my favorite all over looks from left to right.
Kelly Osbourne in Jenny Packham: I wasn't a huge fan of the bottom half of the gown, but the studded detail and mesh chest area is fantastic. Also I'm still scarily obsessed with her lavender locks.
Naya Rivera in Donna Karen Atelier: One word-CLEAVAGE. But this dress does cleavage in the perfect not too revealing way. I love the ruffles and mesh mix with the corset bodice.
Kiernan Shipka in Oscar de la Renta: BEST DRESSED choice for me hands down. The girly blush pink with subtle shine was so different than any other look on the red carpet, and it just screamed spring. I am in love with it and wish I could get my hands on it.
Jennifer Garner in Oscar de la Renta: This is an Oscar look I have not seen. She shined in this body fitting gold sequined gown. She just radiates a star.
Anne Hathaway in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture: Hathaway does it again. First all white at the Golden Globes and now perfecting all black at the SAGs. I love the T length of the gown and all the tulle on the skirt of the dress.
Amanda Seyfried in Zac Posen: When does she go wrong on the red carpet? Check out that tiny figure in this fitted mermaid gown. I wasn't really digging the chain, but I don't totally hate it.
Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture: I am obsessed with this gown, and normally I am not a fan of the two different colored fabrics. The skirt of the dress just flows in details. I love the full skirt.
Claire Danes in custom Givenchy: A lot of people hated on Claire for this look, but I have to completely disagree. I love the bold lip and effortless chic navy gown.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture: Another leading lady in navy. Dior was on fire tonight. This may not be Jennier's best look, but it definitely is not bad! And she just got over being sick. Who can look that flawless after being sick the day before? (Oh and it was kind of bad that her and Seyfried kind of twinned this event out)

Lipstick Diaries
My latest obsession has been lipstick. This is totally new for me. I have grown up loving just a plain chapsticked lip, but finally I am seeing the beauty behind a colored lip. This week I finally got the MAC Lipstick I ordered in the mail. The color on the left is called Saint Germain, which is a pastel BRIGHT baby pink. The color on the right is called Cyber, which is a dark purple almost black. Cyber is very daring. This is good for me since I have been trying to take a bolder stand in my style. Go out and buy the best accessory out there: lipstick. Check out www.maccosmetics.com for a multitude of colors.

Golden Globe Favs
I could not stop obsessing over all the fantastic looks on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. I must say I was not really disappointed by any celebrity. A lot of stylists did well last Sunday. The hot colors were blush pink and red.
Amy Adams in Marchesa: I adored that she called her gown "ballet pink." The mermaid gown was so elegant on her body.
Claire Danes in Versace: She only tried on her gown the night before she had to walk the red carpet, and the last minute decision was a great one.
Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen:I'm obsessed with the fact that Kelly can rock the colored hair trend without looking trashy. She looked so classy in her mermaid style gown with a huge smile across her face the whole night.
Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior: I was looking forward to seeing what she was going to be flaunting at the Golden Globes. She may be new to the red carpet, but she never disappoints. This Christian Dior gown was almost perfect. The bust area sort of confused me though. I was scared the gown was going to slip off.
Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen: She was honestly jaw dropping in this black and gold gown. I loved seeing the comparison pictures between her and her mother in Overboard.
Naomi Watts in Zac Posen: In the picture above you cannot see the train to her dress, but it made me love the gown even more. The back of this dress was so fabulous with an open back, and I loved that she kept it trendy in oxblood.
Megan Fox in Dolce & Gabbana: I am just jealous that she literally just had a baby, and she is already able to rock a fitted, lace gown.
JLO in Zuhair Murad: JLo never fails to go with a more revealing dress, and she always makes it look good. Some people would not be able to pull it off, but the nude and lace mix looks impeccable on her.
Nicole Richie in Naeem Khan: I love long sleeve gowns, but they are rarely ever pulled off elegantly, and Nicole Richie hit it right on spot. I have never seen the blue and nude combination, but I am now a huge fan.
Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta: This is not my favorite look from Zooey, but c'mon now, Oscare de la Renta NEVER disappoints.
Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta: Alright, this may have been my favorite look. Her lipstick was the perfect orange/coral color that accented her gown and fuzzy clutch magnificently.
Rachel Weiz in Louis Vuitton: The only reason this is one of my favorite looks is because the black, sheer polka dot design has become an obsession of mine. I really want a mini dress with these sheer polka dots for myself.
Anne Hathaway in Chanel: Everyone was expecting something fabulous from her since she was the star of Les Mis, and she did not upset anyone. The winter white Chanel gown was STUNNING. I dream of Chanel on the daily.
Kerry Washington in Miu Miu: Everyone was raving over Kerry Washington. Her effortless take on such a showstopping gown makes her look that much more special. So chic.
Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen: I wish Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson got a picture together because their McQueen's were all the rave. The black gown with gold accents were beautiful. The mid sheer section of the gown is probably my favorite. And how could you look bad with Keith Urban by your side all night?
Amy Adams in Marchesa: I adored that she called her gown "ballet pink." The mermaid gown was so elegant on her body.
Claire Danes in Versace: She only tried on her gown the night before she had to walk the red carpet, and the last minute decision was a great one.

New Year's Eve Bliss
I rang in the new year with my very best friends. All dressed in black, gold, and glitter of course. I am excited for all the new adventures and new beginnings 2013 will bring me. So many things happen this year like finding out where I will be attending college, leaving the city I have lived in forever, and starting over in a new city with new people in college.
NYC for Christmas
My dream has always been to spend Christmas in New York City, and this Christmas that dream came true. My best friend took me to New York for my 18th birthday. We did all things touristy. We mainly attempted to feel like a character from Gossip Girl because that is our show. Courtney got her first Louis Vuitton purse. It is beyond beautiful!! My Kate Spade "Taxi" Mittens made their appearance in the city, and I actually hailed a cab with them. My Nastygal leopard faux fur coat also had the chance to make it out on the town. This coat has also made me begin to obsess over faux fur. The noises, people, and fast pace of the city was so inspiring and influential in my life. I can not wait to take these inspirations into my next design project.
