Black Friday

I have never let myself out into the jungle of Black Friday, but I am braving the crowd this year and experiencing the chaos with my best friend. We are going to our local Urban Outfitters where all the sale section is 50% off. We are going to see Silver Linings Playbook at 10:45 (which I can't wait to see & I'll make another post to it alone) and then going to wait outside the Urban until it opens at 5am. So basically I am experiencing my first all nighter and BLACK FRIDAY. Oh pray for me. This is going to be rough.

This is my current feeling: scared & anxious.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone; Spending time with family, eating more than you can handle, and preparing for the chaos of Black Friday. I am thankful for multiple things, some important and some a little less important, but the things I am thankful for are: Jesus, family, friends, ugly selfies friend's text me, diet coke, chocolate, Gossip Girl, fashion blogs, & Christmas decorations.

An Ode to Coffee

 But most of all, I am thankful for COFFEE. The thing that has always been there through early mornings, stress, and just for pure enjoyment. So thank you coffee, for your wonderful taste.Coffee, you just make life make sense.

Countdown to Christmas

This is my favorite time of the year. I make sure everyone knows that as well. Sometimes people even say I remind them of Christmas which is the greatest compliment ever. The Christmas music has begun on the radio, and Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas has officially begun today. I even decorated my room this holiday season because why not?

Pinterest has given me so many incredible ideas for this holiday season, and I will share a few of my favorites in a later post. 

My next posts until Christmas will basically revolve purely around the spirit of the holiday because it's just JOY.

Anthropologie

My life has been so busy with college applications, football season, and all things revolving around senior year that I haven't had time for a job. Well I went into one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie, on Sunday and got an interview for Wednesday. Which is TODAY. I am so excited. It is for the holiday season. Fingers crossed I receive this wonderful opportunity to work for an artistically inspired clothing/ home decor heavenly store.

I have not posted on my blog in a long time. Applying for colleges and starting senior year has been a little stressful. I needed a break from writing and researching for awhile. BUT I'M BACK & READY. I want to make this blog a clear representation of myself from now on & a little insight on all things I find lovely.

NYFW Review One

 I'm just lounging in my favorite pink denim and oversized tee while watching reruns of season one Gossip Girl and reviewing the BCBG Spring '13 show. Why can't I be in New York right now?














These are my favorite looks from the BCBG show. I admired the dominatrix/tough leather look mixed with the sweet/girly sheer lace look. The leather transforming into spring is something I will take note of since leather shorts have been on my mind. The masculine harness neckline was my favorite part of the designs as well as the periwinkle blue & pure white color schemes.
