Prom Essentials

At my high school we have a senior prom, but I have many senior friends, and I went with them. The day of prom was so fun to get pampered. One of my best friends, Morgan, did my hair & make up. It was so perfect. She waterfall braided my hair, and then she curled it. She finished off my make up with a bronze shimmer for my eyeshadow. I had bought my dress a month ahead, so I was so excited to put it back on. Here were my prom essentials:

My lovely friend Morgan did my hair hair & make up. She did a beautiful job. I got the ideas from Pinterest. So if you are lost on what to do for your hair or make up use the girl's guide to everything: Pinterest.

Accessories are my favorite attribution to a fabulous outfit. My jewelry is actually not pictured. You can see my earrings in the next picture, but I wore large gold chandlier-type earrings with a jewel in the center, gold stack rings with a jeweled cross ring, and I did not wear any bracelets because my date gave me a beautiful orchid corsage. Pictured above: I brought my Michael Kors tote along to bring my clothes and toiletries for after prom, I used to my nude Tory Burch clutch, and my heels were gold sparkly Steve Madden pumps.

This is an idea of my final look. I fell absolutely in love with my dress the first second I saw it at Nordstrom. It is BCBG. The fit was so flattering & simple (which I love). I am with Morgan in this picture, who did my hair & make up!

  2. Is your hair naturally curly? But regardless, your hair style for the prom was beautiful. The prom is one of the most anticipating events in high school, which is why most of the students make efforts to look their best. You must be thankful to your friend for doing a great job on your hair and makeup.
